Vaso Zisimopoulou, Head of the Neurology Department and Director of the Stroke Unit at the Athens Euroclinic Group
Vaso Zisimopoulou is a physician with over 15 years of experience, specializing in Neurology and subspecializing in Stroke and Central Nervous System disorders. She received additional training in neurocritical care at the Henry Ford Hospital in Michigan, U.S.A. and established the Emergency Neurological Life Support Courses in Greece by Neurocritical Care Society.
She served as a Major in the Hellenic Air Force and Armed Forces from 1999 until 2022 in challenging administrative positions involving team coordination and project development. She concurrently developed an award-winning, free mobile application for stroke awareness and a Greek acronym for stroke symptoms for early detection.
She is the founder of Neurolife, a medical partnership that takes an innovative approach to providing patients and healthcare organizations with medical assistance and counseling. Working together with a team of ten other medical professionals, they provide medical counseling covering a wide spectrum of neurological conditions, ranging from acute to chronic illnesses.
She is the Head of the Neurology Department and Director of the Stroke Unit at the Athens Euroclinic Group and an active member of the Hellenic Neurological Society
