On Monday, October 23rd the i-MBA Alumni Association with the support of the MBA International organised an Executive Alumni Seminar on the topic “The Ethos of Leadership: Building Your Human Brand”, open exclusively to i-MBA graduates, at the premises of the Athens University of Economics and Business.
The seminar was conducted by Mrs. Evy Poumpouras, Former U.S. Secret Service Agent, National Security Journalist (CNN, NBC, MSNBC, and others), Corporate Trainer, International Speaker, and Best-Selling Author. Her book “Becoming Bulletproof: Protect Yourself, Read People, Influence Situations, Live Fearlessly”, has been translated into five languages. She is awarded with the Secret Service Medal of Valor: Bestowed for heroic acts on 9/11.
The seminar was focused on “Building Your Human Brand: How People See You. The two Most Important Qualities of a Leader” stressing the elements of cognitive capability and “warm” behavior and “Managing Behavior: Adopting the Interpersonal Behavior Wheels and Minimizing Conflict”, underlining the importance of leaders to stay on the Good Wheel and adapt to other’s behavior. Evy Poumpouras shared examples of her professional experience and how she managed difficult situations and discussed with the graduates of the Program how to grow and mature as leaders in challenging times.
