On May 26th, Athens University of Economics and Business and Athena School of Management, Mumbai signed a Memorandum of Understanding for Educational and Professional Exchange. Athena School of Management (Athena) has been ranked as India’s Best Emerging Business School and has won the Silver Award in the Business Impact Category at the AMBA Excellence Awards 2021. Athena is part of the Business Graduates Association (BGA), which is AMBA’s sister organization accrediting Business Schools beyond MBA and DBA degrees, and Member of AACSB.
Initial joint activities will be developed between the PGPM Program of Athena and the MBA International of AUEB. The collaboration between the two institutions will involve student and faculty exchange, while guest lectures will be conducted by faculty on mutually agreed topics.
Through this partnership, joint virtual projects will be initiated on themes such as Sustainability, Leadership, SCM Challenges and Fintech. Furthermore, through online meetings and activities, students from both institutions will have the opportunity of virtual cultural interaction. Both institutions will formulate joint sessions with faculty from AUEB and Athena on subjects of interest to students at both schools.
Students from the MBA International will have opportunity to visit Athena in Mumbai, India for a study, business, and cultural trip, and the same will hold for students from Athena.
We hope this will be the beginning of a fruitful long-term collaboration between the two Institutions that will bring mutual benefits for students and faculty.
