The MBA International Program, AUEB and La French Tech Athens co-organized an inspiring event titled “The Intelligent Energy Economy: Turning Innovation into Impact” on Wednesday, October 22nd, 2025, at The HUB Events.
The event opened with a welcome address from Professor Eric Soderquist, Director of the MBA International and Stavros Stavrides, Founder of Metabusiness L.P. and Board Member of La French Tech Athens.
The panel was moderated by Konstantinos Katsakioris, C-Suite Strategy & Sustainability Advisor. Distinguished speakers included Adrien Barrau, CEO, Seavium, Georgios Exarchou, CEO, Hydrogènede France Hellas, Laura Huguenin, Chief biologist, Cosma Tech and Stella Tsani, Associate Professor, Department of Economics, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Visiting Professor, MBA International.
The discussion was developed around the critical dimensions of the energy transition — strategic, economic, and social. The speakers emphasized the need for a smart transition driven by targeted investments, faster financing, and circular supply chains. Innovative solutions such as long-term hydrogen storage for 24/7 power, digital intelligence to optimize offshore operations, and AI-powered underwater drones for seabed mapping showcased how technology can accelerate progress.
This event was organized on the sidelines of the French Offshore Wind Days, coordinated by Business France, which brought together key Greek, French and international stakeholders in the offshore renewable energy sector.
