Research is heavily emphasized at AUEB and at the i-MBA program. Research is mostly conducted through the research laboratories that are associated to the program. Consultancy is also encouraged, with the objective to develop a better hands-on experience with the practice of management, and to enhance teaching. The Department of Management Science and Technology (DMST) hosts fiveresearch laboratories that directly support the research and educational mission of i-MBA:
